Really bad quality food. I will give it 2 stars because it is also extremely cheap and if you were a student you could make rice and live off a dish for a few days for just 12-13 dollars. But as an adult I would really prefer if they charged $20 and made a sauce that was at least as good as supermarket food. This is supposed to be Panang curry but is a watery tasteless soup, all the dishes were the same watery mix including dishes that should be stir fries. Incomprehensible that a restaurant would serve food like this when you can get a perfectly good thai sauce from a $2 bottle at Aldi that is at least a real sauce.

This restaurant has really changed for the worse since our last visit, the kitchen staff would all say bye as you were leaving and it had a real friendly vibe and great food, now it is completely the opposite, not inviting at all and food was miserable.

Amazing service, and the best Thai I have ever had! The staff are wonderful people always serving with a smile, and the food is somehow even better. Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating of every diet and preference, with a plethora of vegan options to choose from and customise. The service was astoundingly fast for such high quality food, and I know I will definitely be frequenting Smiley Thai as often as possible 🙂
