Sitar is just fabulous in terms of authentic Indian food taste, hospitality and ambience. Smith Shah the gem of Sitar is the most friendly, professional and fun loving guy I met in Australia. Rich taste in all the veg or non veg items, will certainly recommend everyone to visit there and enjoy the meal. One bite of naan with curry will surely put a big smile on your face. I’m so sad that Sitar has really let their business slip lately. A week ago I ordered paneer tikka masala and I found metal wire in the curry – like from a scourer. I called them multiple times to get a refund and no one ever apologised or called back to rectify the issue.

By mistake I ordered from Albion instead of Coorparoo. I rang immediately to cancel. Despite Being told told to collect the order in 35 m they told me I couldn’t cancel as it had been already cooked!!! No refund rip off . I was told to contact the sitar support team on the website . Surprise the website doesn’t load . Disgraceful

First time in eating Sitar in over a year due to bad experiences and sadly its gone from bad to worse. Butter chicken was bland and watery, vindaloo also watery, our naans were raw. The mango chutney was watered down with maple syrup which was disgusting. Resturants that serve food this bad deserve to close down, at the very least change your name and put ‘H’ after the ‘S’ to warn customers of your resturants quality and standards.
