Was taken there by friends. Food as I love it – good produce simple food but exceptional execution. The pizza was delicious fresh authentic thin crust just a hint of fire on the edges – I could become a regular! The affogato was a fine way to finish. It was winter we sat outside there were rugs and we were comfortable. The service is good without being intrusive. I was really impressed. How lucky to have it so close.

Incredibly delicious and authentic pizza. This would have to be some of the best pizza available in Newcastle. If you want to feel like you’re indulging in true Italian pizza then this is the place to go. The desserts were also amazing. Make sure you try the Tirumisu. We’ll definitely be coming back.

If you want to try some real authentic Italian food and recipes you must come to this restaurant. Not only are the dishes a work of art with flavours that just send your palate to heaven, but they are for everyone’s taste. Real pizza too? This is definitely the place. A little corner of the world in NSW that brings Italy to you. Apart from the food the service and the smiles fill the whole restaurant. I have only one suggestion for those that suffer with their back and that is to bring a soft cushion or like I did I sat on my comfy shawl as they have stools that are good for any height. This is an experience you must try. Don’t miss out!

I was taken back to a holiday to Italy when I was 16 eating at Sapori. Delicious authentic pizzas with a lovely thin crust and perfect combination of flavours. We had the Gamberi pizza and Capricciosa and delicious arancini with truffle Mayo. The team noticed it was a cold night and put the heaters on for us without us asking. Great service. Thank you team.

Fabrizio and Francesca’s Sapori at Tailors is an outstanding example of the true meaning of authentic Italian cucina. Flavour, flavour and flavour . Their passion and skills are translated into all that you find at Sapori. We attended a degustation last night that was exceptional with 12 plus dishes (I lost count) created by Valeria. One of the best degustations I have ever tasted. This restaurant is a rare find and an experience not to be missed. They also know how to make real pizza! A small cosy place that has the charm, warmth and joy reminiscent of sitting in a piazza somewhere in Italy sharing an amazing meal and a bottle of Chianti with family and friends. Thank you to the team at Sapori, it was worth the drive from Sydney to sit at your table. Great service !!!
