In a hurry, why not Saigon Express. I’m reminded of the first time I tried pho, which was in Saigon. The traditional serving has fresh mint, fresh chilli, and beans sprouts on the side. I seem to recall fresh coriander as well. This place adds it in, and you’ll have to ask for the fresh mint. Normally, the broth is well seasoned, though it was over seasoned on this occasion. Also worth trying are the spicy, stuffed chicken wings and rice paper prawn spring rolls.

Served a good menu of traditional Vietnamese dishes. Favorite were the fried chicken wings and fried spring rolls. I had rice vermicelli with marinated pork. Inexpensive, food portions were large. One of our group didn’t like the beef salad and had it returned.
