Social Profile:

Hot, Sweet and Indian Sharing its moniker with the most precious and exotic of spices, Saffron lives up to its name. In a little shop a bit like the Tardis (it’s magically bigger on the inside) you’ll find Saffron down at the Inglewood end of Beaufort Street, which is an area that is getting quite a buzz about it. You’ll find the staff charming, helpful, discreet and knowledgeable. The decor is effortlessly sophisticated and the atmosphere is soothing and conducive to a fine dining experience. The menu offers traditional regional Indian food, expertly prepared and presented. If you can handle it, try the seriously hot Chicken Vindaloo – the Goan vindaloo sauce is one of the chef’s specialities. For a milder, but no less flavoursome taste

Traditional Indian cuisine served in a polished setting with leather banquettes & a large courtyard.

We had an outstanding dining experience at Saffron Indian Restaurant. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional customer service. The ambience and decor inside the restaurant created a pleasant atmosphere for a memorable evening. The food surpassed my expectations, featuring an array of delectable flavors derived from skillfully combined spices. Each dish was not only delicious but also presented beautifully. I found the overall experience to be excellent value for money.

You know that the food must be good when you see that Indians patronise this wonderful establishment. I have been coming here for 4 years now and have nothing negative to say albeit some customers unfamiliar with true Indian hospitality should have gone to MacDonald’s instead.

Food selection is huge on the menu and very good quality and good serving size. In a group of 4, we had a share vegetarian plate which was very nice. We then shared a fish chicken and beef dish, all separate of course! Rice to share as well and rolled out last table! Would I go back, absolutely!

A modern clean restaurant, great food, good service but (as is usual in most places these days), ghastly millennial caterwauling and doofdoof thumping (I can’t call it “music”, it insults real music!) ruins the atmosphere. We go to restaurants with family and friends to eat and TALK, not shout above screeching chalkboard Mariah Carey wannabes. I’d rather hear non intrusive classical, or even sitar music in an Indian restaurant than cookie-cutter bimbo pop.

I have to admit, I still have not dined in the restaurant, but we order takeaway several times a month and The food is FANTASTIC. Both veggie and chicken/lamb options are great. They have never gotten our order wrong. It arrives hot and fresh. Best Indian in Perth hands down. We will make it a point to come dine in soon! Thank you!
