Saccharomyces Beer Cafe is a fiercely independent bar, bottle shop and kitchen hidden down Fish Lane in South Brisbane. We are obsessed with supporting local independent craft breweries, but also love our indie wines and spirits. We can help you find your perfect beer and deliver it to you with the perfect food. With the relaxation of COVID restrictions we can now have you back to the bar! We still have a limited capacity and there are a few COVID-Safe precautions we must abide by, but welcome back!

Amazing hidden gem on Fish Lane in South Brisbane! The food is consistently amazing, especially the boulets! Their selection of spirits is fantastic and I always love trying different indie beers they have. It’s great to go to such an accepting and chill bar with my friends – we feel really safe there! Brilliant to see that they have hired some openly queer bartenders – they’re awesome to have a chat with and make us feel at home.
