Seriously the VERY best food I have ever eaten in Australia. I come from the UK where there is an Indian or Asian restaurant on every street corner. This one though is seriously good – I came here 6 months ago and it was the same – thought it might have been a one-off but no – amazing!. They know they have a few sharp edges to smooth over with some aspects of service but they are on to it. This chef is seriously good – try it out. If it doesn’t live up to my hype let me know – and No, I’m not a professional critic or being paid for my review. If you find better, let me know!

Clean, neat, modern. Ordered lamb biryani and peshwari naan. Although biryani seemed to be missing something, it was enjoyable nonetheless. Was also a reasonable serving size. Naan was delicious. Roshni is now my preferred Indian restaurant in Mackay.

Amazing food, by far the best Indian I’ve ever eaten. Tasty sumptuous meals variety of delicious curries, ranging from chicken, beef seafood, lamb, goat and vegetables. Friendly efficient service & good atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Love this place . Everytime I visit Mackay this is one of my two favourite dining destinations.

I came in to town today for a rare lunch with my husband for our anniversary. We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and I’m glad we chose it. We started with two entrees to share and had the tandoori prawns the waitress said they will be putting them in the menu soon and so they should they were delicious and juicy. For Mains we tried a variety of curries and nan bread also were scrumptious but the stand out for me was the Goat Biryani it was the best I have ever had and I have been to India! I highly recommend this restaurant it might seem pricey but you get what you pay for and you can always take home what you don’t eat.
