Easy 5 out of 5 for me, not only some of the most delicious vegetarian i’ve had but love the fact it’s down a nice laneway which gave me a sense of adventure. Also love the general layout, classy but rustic and the staff were lovely. Will go again next time in Cairns.

This is definitely my favorite place to eat in Cairns. All of their food is vegan and super delicious. My favorite one is the “Chicken“ and the “Fried Rice“. The team are so friendly and you can feel they prepare everything with so much love.

A great place to eat, but tucked away from the main street, so you need to look out for the lane it is located in. Good service, very tasty food (even as a meat-eater) – the steamed BBQ bun was excellent. A quiet place for lunch, with seating inside and out. Will definitely visit this place again before we finish our holiday.

Root is absolutely delicious! This is one of the only fully vegan places in Cairns and definitely worth a visit. They have lovely salads, curry, stirfry, and sushi. It is tucked away in a little alleyway. I highly recommend stopping by for lunch if you are looking for friendly staff serving delicious vegan food.
