Beautiful ambiance.. and great looking tasting menu. Unfortunately the were some bumps with the food.. My partners steak was very over seasoned with salt.. my quail was over cooked and the sauce on the quail quite over powering.. but the scallops and kingfish were absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding.. I would definitely go back to try something different

I loved everything about Rockpool Bar & Grill. I was staying at Crown Metropol for business and was treated to a dinner here. The atmosphere, service and food was exquisite. My steak was cooked to perfection. It is expensive so don’t come here for a cheap eat…. but it is worth the money as you are paying for top quality food and 5 star service. Can’t wait to come back during my next trip to Perth!

The food was very good, but pricey. It was a little too dark to appreciate the plates properly. The woodfired roast duck and some sides were great, but some small sections of the meat tasted on the very rare (borderline raw) side. Regardless, steaks and pie had by other dining companions were well received.

We came to taste the famous beef pie but it’s ok only. My son ordered the steak. Even though it’s cooked as medium rare, it’s still very chewy. However the scallop entree was tender and tasty. I enjoyed the Martini cocktail too.
