A fancy bit of Sydney right here. Lovely restaurant, truly a tidy little place. We can for mother’s day dinner and was very satisfied.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been in Sydney. Service was great, atmosphere was amazing, but the highlight of this experience is the butter, and the pastas. Will come back just for the butter.

Delicious Italian food. The tagliatelle with Scampi was to die for! Wine was a little pricey, but a great selection. Staff were lovely. Will def recommend and return.

Not often do I write about dissatisfaction however last night at @restaurant_leo I have to say .. this wss a dinning experience that did not live up to its supposed one chefs hat rating. Staff were friendly so nothing wrong there, pastas were under seasoned and were the best thing we ordered, the pictured Veal Scaloppine, well do your own research, but imo was not veal Scaloppine – “Scaloppine are lean slices of veal (though sometimes also pork or turkey), often lightly flattened with a meat pounder, cooked in a sauce.” It’s ok to create your version of a dish, However hold some level of comparison to the original or traditional dish. I was looking forward to this dish, a seared piece of veal cut in half with an underwhelming Lemon and Saffran sauce for $40. Not in any Nonna or Nonno’s kitchen was this Scaloppine.

Alfresco dining in alleyway is something which I dearly adore! Finally I had the chance to experience this at Restaurant Leo in Angel Place last night. This Italian restaurant showcases their handmade pasta, which is excellent in taste and cooked to al dente. The red prawn Tagliatelle is a crowd favourite and I can see why. It was packed with flavour and that richness of the prawn and crustacean was truly amazing. The tuna bruschetta isn’t something I would normally order but I decided to follow the chef/ owner’s (Federico Zanellato ) recommendation and I was so glad I ordered it!! That was certainly one of the highlights! Focaccia was really good too and the croquettes were so crunchy outside and creamy inside. I personally cannot fault anything but simply enjoying every single dish while watching the sun went down. Service was good, though slightly on the slow side as they had staff shortage on the night. Nevertheless everything was good and I enjoyed the company and moment together.

Absolutely amazing food, wine and services. Not one dish disappoints!!! The wine is also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and lovely. The food is just impeccable. I would say one of the best restaurants in the CBD. Be crazy if anyone leaves bad comments for this GEM!

Probably a solid 3.5 – Gave it a 4 as it should get the benefit of the doubt. The food was pretty good. The steak, while very expensive, was delicious. The only things holding it back were the ambiance (it feels a little cheap) and the pasta. Personally, it was a little under seasoned (could have done with some pepper/parmesan) which is ok, but it was definitely undercooked. I like al dente, but this was raw in the middle unfortunately.

Came here for dinner one night. The staff were initially a bit dismissive of us, I’m not sure if they were just busy helping other people but I felt a bit ignored. Once seated, they were relatively good I guess. The food here was pretty good, but servings were small. Also, be aware that the online menu isn’t really updated so it’s likely that it is different to what is on the site. Would I come here again? I’m not too sure – my first impressions of the service and staff were a bit off putting but the food was good, so I don’t know. The spanner crab and maccheroncini was really nice, and so was the chocolate tortino (a bit like a lava cake)
