Our first time trying and we will definitely be back. The best hot chips! fresh, crispy and not too oily. The battered fish (flake) was cooked perfectly too, keen to try some of the other fish too in the future.

I am always in search of the ultimate old school fish and chips . The sort of fish and chips you had back in the 80s / 90s wrapped up in paper . Well my search is over . I was told about this place and i have been keen to try it and today was the day . Chips are amazing, fish is amazing . Freshly crumbed seafood on display ( no trip to the freezer for processed seafood in a bag here ) . They also have a great little dine in area. 10/10 . We are looking forward to returning on a regular basis.

Our first time trying and far out..not sure what was going on tonight considering the reviews but this was the worst fish and chips we have ever had. Chips were undercooked, tasted like cardboard and were chewy. They clearly had been frozen for a very, very long time and the fish was as flat as a tack, small and tasteless. We ended up throwing the meal out. 2 stars was for the nice service and good drink selection.

Sorry but this place must have been off it’s game when I tried it. Potato fritters undercooked, ditto the vegie patty which was still semi-frozen. Fish was ok-KG Whiting but the batter was soggy. Two ladies behind the counter. The cook was nice, the server was sour-faced and grumpy. I was holding out a bit of hope because of good reviews, but yeah..nah. Won’t be back.

Fish and hand cut chips in a modest setting with friendly service. Servings are very generous and prices very fair. It was warm when we visited and quite busy. Despite that, we got our orders quite quickly.

Food is only one part of a good fish and chip shop. A simple smile, hello, idle chat when the shop is empty doesnt cost anything, when i walked in they looked like i was about to kill them. You can tell their tired & hav been their for decades or all their life, retire, enough is enough, you need money to live but it can also kill you.
