I had home delivery and I have to say I was hugely underwhelmed. The food was cold but that’s easy fixed, what I couldn’t fix was an underseasoned dish that was bland and tasteless which was the last thing I expected from a Thai restaurant. The prawns were frozen not fresh as was the fish fillets which had an odd taste which was rubbery and unpleasant, how did I know they were frozen? Ten years in the fishing industry, that’s how. Soggy zucchini didn’t do the food any favours.

Food was good! The servers (who I assume were kids of the owners) were absolutely lovely. The chef might be moody and in a bit of a hurry as we were in so much pressure to choose what we would like. A bit more hospitality may help but you know what? He is thai and I am Filo and he said “Salamat” which means Thank you in Tagalog. Which was funny and cute! Its one of the best restos in Armidale and will visit them again for sure!

I am actually surprised at the negative reviews. Wondering whether the place changed hands during the pandemic. We ordered takeaway twice here during our short stay in Armidale. The food was tasty so we came back the second time. We picked up our food though which means we won’t have to wait too long for cold food, which is what the negative reviews are about. Recommend the pad thai and pad see yu.
