Dirk enjoyed the chilli pepper fish very much. The spice was nice but it was a little too much for him. He began to sweat and then turn red. I could see he was in trouble, which made me very happy. It was a great time. RIP Dirk, until we meet again. The rest of the food was really delicious but it took over an hour to arrive after ordering. I haven’t had to wait that long for food since 1929. We tried many dishes and each one was delicious. We didn’t get to meet Pearl herself, but we did enjoy eating at her restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone within 400 kilometres of Wagga.

Went here for lunch. Lunch specials had good variety and were affordable. Was strange that you had to order and pay as you walk in, instead of someone taking your order from your table. Food came relatively quickly and was delicious. I also enjoyed the fried icecream for dessert!

Staff were quick to ask if you want any drinks, but a were a bit slower in asking for orders and delivering. I must add though that the restaurant was full, so can accept a bit of “slowness” in delivering meals.

The food was pretty tasty. However the service was terrible. The staff were unhelpful, rude and abrupt. Our orders were incorrectly taken and any request for food/drinks was met with a humph and we were made to feel like it was a hassle. Our booking was for 6:30 and at 7:30, before we had finished all our food and drink we were told that we needed to hurry up because other people were waiting. We wouldn’t recommend.
