Nice change up to your usual flavours. Staff were helpful and nice. Came in for a late dinner around 8pm with a group of 5. I would’ve deducted a star for the lamb fat tasting slightly undercooked and my friends had mixed feelings about the ravioli. However, I think this restaurant has potential to be great but maybe it was a mismatch of personal taste preferences in our choices so I will give full 5 stars as staff were attentive and respectful of my groups specific dietary requirements. The sides (primo entrees and Contorno dishes) were all very good. Would come again to try the other mains

My first time at Pastorale. What a pleasant and savoury surprise to discover fine dining in Wagga Wagga. We had numerous tasty dishes; exceptional kudos go to the chef for the sea trout crudo, the gorgonzola gnocchi, and the scotch fillet. We paired from a well-stocked wine selection to include a 2006 Margaux. Well done.

I am by no means a food critic – but can only speak highly of Pastorale – the food, the service, the ambience and overall dining experience – second to none. Super service and I went on Tuesday evening which was steak frites night in their menu. The food was great, it was a great steak! Awesome arancini and burrata for starters. It’s probably a place for abit of a splurge but it was a great experience. The inside was Abit noisy but all in all cosy as we managed to sit by the fire. There is also an extensive drink menu and staff are knowledgeable about the different wines and spirits, and able to give recommendations which is refreshing!
