I can’t fault the staff at all. Service was absolutely top-notch 5/5 stars without question.

Dim sum was fine. We ordered shrimp dumplings, shrimp was not much taste, sui mai was good, rice noodle with shrimp was ok, pork buns was good. Sesame fried ball with red bean was fine, little bit cold. This is an old style restaurant, the environment, hygiene and atmosphere needs to be improved.

Service may not be the strongest suit here heh but they’re a busy bunch that work super hard and the food is so YUM every time. Pipi’s in XO sauce and the special fried rice are reeeeeal good!

Bad bad bad! Worst service ever. Very poor hygiene practices! Are they trying to get us sick? This place makes me hate Chinese cuisine.

My sticky rice was taking ages! While my other friends have finished their meal! We kept on waiting waiting waiting and waiting. Please keep the communication on, at least tell us earlier if it is taking that long, so we can order other replacements!

Don’t go there, wasting time and money. We waited more than 30 minutes to get our table and more than 30 minutes on the queue to just order our food. The worst thing is the food are not even taste good, cold and overpriced. We even been told that the beef mice rice noodle should be looked like red inside. Oh my god, it’s beef mince not steak, it should be all done, not RAW!!!!! Vey disgusting, and all the staffs there are very rude!!! I would give less than 1 star if I can!!!! Very bad and regretful experience!

I prefer to post positive reviews! The objective of Google reviews is to inform others about your experience. Your personal time with your family & friends is precious, as is your hard earned money. This restaurant should be 100% successful, read their older reviews, but something has gone very wrong! On arrival we waited 45 minutes for a table, the restaurant was busy & we were walk ins, we accepted the wait, thinking it would be worth it. We were shown to our table, they explained you fill in an order form, then queue at the back counter. There is no Cart service & the number of dishes was surprisingly limited, which was disappointing, but we joined the queue hoping the food was going to be good! There were approx 20+ people in line, it moved painfully slowly. The waitress provided our table with a pot of green tea, cups and a large hot water jug, but I realised that was the end of any attentive service, you needed the hot water to refill your teapot & quench your hunger. We waited over an 1 hour in the queue. The table next to us, were a young group of Chinese professionals, they told me they had waited nearly 2 hours, their food was cold & not the quality they expected, telling me this place had changed since Covid. They were very angry & said they wouldn’t come back! I considered leaving, you are charged a $2 seating fee per person, we had our tea, we were hungry so we hoped the food would make up for it! You present your order form at a back counter, the busy servers scramble around to get your dishes. A refrigerated food cabinet was leaking, a large sheet was tucked under it, their food counter is positioned next to the toilets. They didn’t appear to have enough staff, priority seems to go towards serving the private banquet rooms. You are handed a tray piled with dishes & have to get it back to your table. All of our dishes were lukewarm, not the piping hot food you’d expect from a normal Yum Cha. The soy & chilli condiments were disappointingly small for our table of 3. The soy sauce seemed like a low quality sauce. The fun of Yum Cha carts is the interaction with the servers, the variety of food options & the experience of sharing a meal with loved ones, friends or business colleagues, you also have the ability to keep ordering additional food if hungry. It feels like they are cutting corners to keep their costs down. Ordering at the back counter slows the whole dining experience, you remain longer, get angrier & order less. We also went home hungry! Nobody wanted to join the queue again! The food & service was extremely disappointing, don’t waste your time or money. I’ve been going to various Yum Cha restaurants for 30+ years, I’ve worked in Hong Kong, lived in Howick, NZ, and travelled to other countries, this was my worst Yum Cha experience! I hope they get their business back on track!

The food quality of this yum cha place appeared to have recently gone down hill. We came here on a Saturday morning. We didn’t need to wait, which was surprising but we had to fetch our orders and line up, which is not something I’m used to for this restaurant.
