Stopped here for lunch on Thursday. Restaurant was busy but managed to get a table straight away. The food was decent (especially the prawn and chive toast) but quite expensive. I paid $40 for 3 dishes. They also charge for jasmine tea which is rubbish.

I asked for the bean curd rolls and the lady rolled her eyes me like it was too hard to get despite a table next to have having the dish. The food carts come frequently. The ladies are rude and everything is too much effort. They sometimes don’t look where they are going and ram the cart into you. Food was average. A little pricier compared to other yum cha’s. We sat against the wall so we could see all the carts go past. Going to pay can be a pain as they take their time.

The worst service EVER. The waiter shouts at us to “wait at the table”for asking to pay at the counter. We are already standing at the counter for several minutes, so we don’t want to sit back. Then, he threw the bill at the manager, and when she asked him if he was throwing things at her, he said no, he was throwing at us. We called out his rudeness, he kept shouting “I said PLEASE!” It is a very unpleasant experience. Will never visit and strongly not recommend.

Sue, Alyona, Niall and I were blown away by the meals we had at the Palace Chinese restaurant. It was almost like a Sushi train but with the Waitresses delivering loads of interesting and tasty morsels by trolley. We have never been in a Chinese restaurant like this and it’s no wonder we received so many reviews before attending this restaurant.

Good yum cha place. It would be better go there 11:00 and leave before 1pm, or the place will be become very noisy.

This place is a gem for great Chinese food to the discerning palate. Had Har gow, Siew Mai, duck, bean curd, French beans and roast pork. Every dish is exquisitely tantalizing to the palate. They deserve a 5 for food and no less. Perhaps those lesser stars are people unfamiliar with Chinese food.

Good old yum cha place. Reasonable food. Quick to get most of what you want in terms of food. They truly packed out the place with tables close to each other. Put your Cantonese language skill to use here. $45 per person with three of us.
