Great place, so relaxed and restful. The owner is supper friendly and nice. Cool second hand vintage clothes and books. Unique menu, very tasty. Enjoy

I had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. The owner was quite weird when we asked about the origins of the cafe, advised him about allergies and used the cafe’s only PowerPoint. He actually stomped over and yanked my computer charger out of the wall and said his fairy lights are part of the atmosphere and need to be plugged in. I’m also outraged that he charged us $0.50 to use a credit card, which is against the new law! The only redeeming factor was the moroccan phyllo pastry was quite nice but I nonetheless won’t be coming back here. It’s no wonder this place is dead empty.

3.2 – Dropped by to grab a Chai on the way past – wasn’t sure if they would give me a Chai Latte or a Chai Tea actually. They gave me a Chai Latte – it tasted like Warm, Sweet Water. The store was interesting though – there were books (with a note saying nobody should read them whilst eating at the tables), clothes and jewellery that were being sold. A couple sat at a table enjoying their brunch. The owners looked like a husband and wife, polite, quiet and the cafe seemed homely.

50c EFTPOS fee that breaks the new laws. Staff became rude after customers started to use their laptops, although the cafe was empty. Ripped out their power plugs from the wall and told them that they were disrupting the aesthetic of the cafe.

Loved the ambiance and food is equally good. It reminds me of ancient cafes that I used to go in Europe. Price is reasonable too. All in all a hidden jem. Perfect place to have relaxed breakfast.

Coffee was average but the real reason I will not go back is how rude the owner is. No wonder why the place is empty.
