Have stopped in for takeaway lunched on my way through Narrabri a few times, but stopped in for a sit down brunch this morning. Wow! French toast with a side of bacon was on point. So delicious, loved the fresh fruit on top- it was all just so pretty and perfect.

We stumbled on Cafe One23 on our first trip to Narrabri. We called in early for breakfast and the waitress was very busy but so pleasant. The ‘basic’ breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it and the juice was delicious. The food in the display cabinet looked absolutely mouthwatering. A lovely find and a big thank you again to the young waitress for keeping her cool while so busy and for being so pleasant.

Stopped by for breakfast while on work trip. Absolutely loved the toasted muesli with fruit, yoghurt and milk. It was a great size and delicious. The waitress was very cheerful and friendly making it a great experience.

One23 used to be a noisy, overly busy place. Lately it’s been our cafe of preference. Excellent service staff and good food. A variety of diet options and no hassle to customise a plate.

Hopelessly slow service. Popped in for coffee and takeaway bacon and egg roll on the way to work. Nobody in the place, so I thought it would be fast service. Waited 25min while people who ordered after me got their food and coffee and left. Asked several times how much longer….eventually gave up because i was then late for wrk. Took my stone cold coffee that was made 20min prior and left. Cost $28 for bacon and egg roll and coffee and all i got was a cold cup of coffee. My recommendation is only go here if you are a millionaire and have all day to waste waiting for a feed. Epic fail 123. Sack your chef and your waitstaff and maybe you will have some success! If passing thru Narrabri I would suggest a feral Maccas feed, or stop in to Coles, because 123 is just a waste of time!

Had the big breakfast minus the beans. Was pretty Dam good. Next time I am in the area I will have to visit again. Staff where friendly. Wasn’t busy at the time I visited so food came out fast. Great family breakfast atmosphere

They tried to give me $13 in loose cange because I dared to use cash. The burrito bowl was tired dried out white rice and baby spinach leaves. The 5 garlic prawns in ghe bowl were crisp but did not have any garlic flavour. The red onion was crisp and fresh.A tiny pile of tasteless tomato at the bottom. No sauce of any kind on it of offered. They were bad a year ago whn I last passed through and they are as bad now.

Went in there for breakfast then a large family walked in they got served and there meals before me I waited 15 minutes for just a coffee then 30min later I went to get up and leave asked the girl where is my breakfast she replied it wasn’t put through disgusting service would not recommend it typical gen y attitude pathetic

We came for lunch on the way through and were very happy with the food, drinks and service. We shared the breakfast eggs (all day breakfast) and it was delicious, though definitely a two person meal! The meals are very large and I’d recommend sharing one unless you’re a big eater, there was a lot of food wasted at the tables around us. Our coffee and hot chocolate were made quickly and were tasty too.
