I’ve probably had about 20 coffees from here over the last 12months when Leaf Cafe is closed – coffee is always very weak, more often than not it tastes almost like hot milk (I’m not a strong coffee guy at all either). Service can be average too but generally, anyone thinking this coffee is good doesn’t have a clue, there are way better spots even in this local shops let alone most other cafes. Its not juniour staff either, I’ve had multiple people make it, almost like their doing a half shot or something – it sucks.

Had two Belgian mochas on 29/8/23 at around 5:30pm. 30 minutes passed and no mochas were served. We had to ask the waiter and she looked very lost. Eventually they made the mochas and said the barista must have forgotten. Not good service. Mochas were tasty tho, but it’s chocolate it’s going to be tasty anyway.

Took my children there this afternoon for a milkshake. They graciously said thankyou once served. The teenager ignored their good manners. After our milkshakes I suggested to her that next time someone says thankyou, it would be courteous to acknowledge it, especially when coming from children. She rolled her eyes & looked away. She clearly resented working there as the man served before me ordered a large coffee but was provided a regular instead. First time & last time we’ll use this cafe…

The owner of this place showed me nothing but disrespect when I complained about the hygiene of my drink. I ordered an iced chocolate and found long dark brown hair on my straw and in my drink. I went to complain and politely told her about the issue and asked for another drink. She then replied with “We gave you the drink you ordered, if you do not like the way it was made you should’ve ordered a different drink.” I gave up on trying to explain the fact that the issue was not the drink itself but the hairs I found in it. After that I went at sat down as I was going to meet a friend and that’s when I heard the way the absolutely sick and disgusting way she spoke to the staff that were working. If I could give a 0/5 for my experience I would.
