Our restaurant located at the Roche Estate, in the heart of the Hunter Valley, it has become a favourite for locals and visitors alike. Whether dining inside the minimalist Asian themed dining hall or on the outside undercover terrace overlooking the vines and an architecturally designed amphitheatre, Oishii has become a “must dining experience”. The fast take away options are delicious. We are open 7 days for lunch and dinner and hope to welcome you soon.

Nice place to eat in the hunter valley, the massaman beef curry I had was very tender and tasty, only reason I gave 4 stars is because my partner ordered the beef tapanyaki and asked for medium rare, but it was cooked more than that, and a little chewy.

My friend and I came here for dinner. We ordered the satay chicken and edamame for entree. Both were lacking flavour. Satay chicken tasted like it was boiled then the satay was added after and edamame were cooked perfectly but not enough salt. I ordered the prawn tepen Yaki which came with rice and miso. It was an usual meal. Lots of prawns! Miso was good but there was no need for the rice as the dish had no sauce. My friend ordered the pad Thai and she said it lacked flavour. For dessert we ordered the deep fried icecream. The icecream was rock hard. All we were esting was the batter and sauce. What made our visit here unpleasant was the ‘over friendly’ staff. It was like they were pushing us to order and cleaned our table as soon as we ate. It felt like they were rushing us. We ate everything and out the door in 45min.

Everytime I came to Polkobin I always tried Oishii. They open late, good food and fair price. They have variety of dishes including Thai and Japanese. We had Panang Duck curry, Thai beef salad and tom yum which were all so yummy.
