Ordered 2 burgers, a piece of fish and chips at 6:30pm on a Sunday evening, after waiting for 45 minutes I was then advised that the order would be another 15 minutes- there was absolutely no communication when placing the order that there would be a 1+ hour wait (even though the shop was relatively quiet being a Sunday night)- had I have been advised when placing the order I never would have placed it. Came in today just for some chips as a small snack for my partner and I’s long drive. The owner is by far one of the RUDEST AND STUCK UP PEOLE I HAVE EVER MET. Prices were so so ridiculously high. When we went to pay for our overpriced chips he very rudely snapped theres a $3 dollar extra surcharge. My partner is one of the nicest people in the world and didn’t hear him properly and replied with cash thinking he asked if we were paying by card. He once again snapped doesn’t matter $3 dollar extra surcharge! because I have to pay them (his staff). HOW RUDE!!! For the awful food to be so expensive and still add on an extra $3 surcharge is ridiculous. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY WHY ARE YOU OPEN ON A PUBLIC HOLIDAY??? Waiting for ages for the most simple of orders and to be abused by the owner is just plain wrong. STAY AWAY!!!

Ordered $500 worth of fish and chips under different names and orders. It was professionally wrapped with name labels and boxed. For the amount of fish and chips it was done quite quickly considering peak season time. He also gave 4 bottles of coke for free along with half a dozen sauces. Overall very impressed

Went to Ocean Catch to try a different fish and chip shop i will say, the excessive wait time for a burger, souvlaki and some chips. was rediculous, there was hardly anybody inside who had ordered, to be charged $40 for what we ordered was insane.

Despite the crazy wait time (being Good Friday it’s totally acceptable) this was the best Fish and Chips I’ve had since moving to the peninsula 3years ago. Definitely will be back. Prices reasonable. Customer Service fantastic and food crispy, well cooked and delicious. Thanks Guys. Happy Easter.

I should have walked out , but mate I will never come back . If you want to open on a public holiday that’s your problem .
