We’ve paid good money for bad food before, who hasn’t, but the food we received from the Ocean Breeze Chinese Takeaway tonight was THE worst we’ve ever experienced.

Never had a Chinese experience SO BAD. Put in a simple order of sweet & sour chicken. & rice, & asked if I could have a bit more flavour sauce with it. Told they only had I size choice & she had to ask cook if she should charge me extra for bit more flavour. Got no. I expected 1 simple container with rice on bottom & sweet & south chicken on top. Instead I got 2 containers, 1 with rice and 1 container with SO much sauce I could hardly see the food. It was a quick meal for my work break in the car. Mission impossible. And can you believe when I drunk up the sauce what I found..Small tomato’s, coliflower, small corn, carrots, small pineapple !!! I Simple wanted chicken, a bit of juice with rice, hoew hard it that. !!! no other Chinese food outlet has ever not delivered. And the price over $21+, see photos

Food nothing like it used to be. Special Fried rice was delicious previously, now bland. The dishes have become tasteless, once was the best Chinese food in Toowoomba. Steer clear now.

A bit dodgy, says they’re are open 5pm to 9pm and they aren’t open. Won’t answer calls, no signs saying they are shut. They’ve done this twice now. Pretty disappointed. Very poor management skills

We had the dine in option and shared a banquet. It would be nice to see the dining area decorated and done up a little more, but that is honestly the only fault i could find. The staff were so great!! We had three kids who made a huge mess and the waitress was so great about it, she never made us feel embarrassed and was great with the little ones. The food was AMAZING!! Service was great. Food came out quickly and the prices were really good!! We will definitely be going back.

Three people visiting from brisbane and myself so we bought a container each and received a free fried rice. The rice was hard, the battered chicken was hard, dry and very overcooked. Mongolian beef was dry and all sauces were watery and tasteless. I understand at this time of year (between xmas & new year) that trade is down but this was a huge embarrassing letdown. It all tasted like leftovers that had been reheated and and refried.
