Located inside a heritage building not looking anything like a restaurant but once you enter has a very spacious modern clean feel. Very busy in the evenings, best to book. Quite echo’y inside when busy & can get very loud. Chairs are straw & can be uncomfortable especially if in shorts & skirts. Plenty of selection of beverages from Vietnamese iced coffee, to plethora of wine & cocktails. Menu option extensive. From pho, to wrap your own cold rolls to stir fry dishes. We ordered red chicken & roast pork rice which was quite disappointingly dry in both proteins. Betel leaf wrapped beef in vermicelli salad bowl was excellent, highly recommended. Steep 3% surcharge to use eftpos.

I came here a few years ago and this time we had a group dinner here on a Saturday night. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, the food had big portions and the flavour was quite nice, everything was well balanced. Their service is friendly and fast too. I had the combination pork broken rice, it came with a soup. Recommend this dish. I tried the combination vermicelli salad, it was quite yummy too. I also tried the NNQ fried rice, however it didn’t have much flavour this time.

Banh canh (tapioca noodle soup) – noodles were overcooked – they were all in very small pieces or broke easily. Big bowl full or mostly soup. Chicken was on the dry side.

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food (the Hanoi spring rolls were ). Very generous serving sizes (couldn’t finish our bowls!). Incredibly FAST & friendly service (think we got our entrees within 5 mins of ordering!). Family-friendly atmosphere (lots of tables + space for large groups). Reasonably priced ($70ish for 2 people for entrees, mains, dessert AND drinks!)

The quality is consistently good and simple dishes like the combination rice are always fantastic – 8.5/10. The pho is always very enjoyable – 7.5/10 The atmosphere is always bustling and the service is quite friendly. The Viet coffee is also not bad. The prices are also very reasonable for what you get.
