I was reluctant to try this place, but the reluctance killed the cat. I finally tried and had one of the best biryanis from here. The portion was huge, enough for two people. The staff was very friendly. I am definitely going back and gonna try everything else.

This is one of the best Indian food I have tasted so far in Australia. To be honest, I went with low expectations, given the handful of Indian restaurants in the Hunter Valley. However, I was blown away by the quality and taste of the food. I tried a variety of items here, ranging from Papdi Chaat, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Samosa Chaat, Chicken Biryani, Dahi Puri, Chilli Prawns, Chhole and Kulcha (Paneer and Aloo). Each one of them was excellent. If you’re a foodie, you would appreciate the attention to detail and passion they pour into their food. They use fresh ingredients and don’t cut corners. I might as well drive down 2 hours from Sydney to hog the delightful fare they serve here. Highly recommended.

Best panipuri since reshikesh.. spicy tamarind chutney – perfectly balanced. Crispy and fresh too. Dining area a bit grotty and clashes of music from everywhere, so even on a Monday this food court is a bit crazy busy. Worth it for the panipuri though!

What an amazing experience. I needed catering for an important function and Karan was incredibly accommodating. He was able to suggest what he thought would be the best options and he was spot on. The food was amazing and all my guests loved every mouthful.

I bought Butter chicken, Lamb Rogan josh, cheese, garlic naan and a Samosa to take away yesterday. All were delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful and serves generous. I would recommend this restaurant and will be ordering again when in Maitland. Yum!!!

Only have good things to say about Namaste. Been here several times over the last year or so and always go away feeling satisfied. Top drawer food, some of my favourites include chana bhatura, paneer dosa, Amritsari kulcha, whilst the samosas with tamarind chutney are up there with some of the best samosas I’ve had. Crispy, flaky, spicy and packed full of veggies. The khulfi is also a nice palate cleanser after a hearty meal. Immensely generous owner, always goes out of his way to ensure that diners are looked after, whilst the servers and cooks are polite and respectful. Will certainly be returning soon!

The BEST Chicken Biryani EVER! On the pricey side but definitely worth it on special occasions, I’ve ordered takeaway/ delivery mainly and consistently amazing quality. Chicken is always tender and no bones, fluffy rice and decent wait times. Customer service can fluctuate but nothing concerning. Definitely recommend Chicken Biryani amongst all their dishes!
