Dropped in for lunch. Fortunately, it was not too busy at the time and there were tables available though usually you would need a reservation.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were glad we had booked at Moorish. Every staff member was friendly, personable and helpful. We had tapas, and each dish was delicious. Our waitress recommended how many dishes to try, and the number was perfect. She was knowledgeable on ingredients and amounts. From marinated olives, lamb strips, African meatballs, jewfish cerviche, roasted figs with goats cheese and more – we enjoyed them all. Dish of the day for us was the bone marrow! Amazing! Dessert was not needed (but we couldn’t say no) to the Portuguese tart and the homemade Turkish delight icecream. Other diners – whether couples or larger groups – were all enjoying themselves. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, friendly staff, great location. We didn’t have drinks, I wish we had, and also make sure you trust the staff when they recommend food. We didn’t go with their recommendations and we missed out on a lot of good stuff. Overall I highly recommend this place.

We started with a Pisco Sour at the new little bar behind in Spain Place at dusk, the perfect beginning. A short walk around to the restaurant and we were met by friendly staff who had been informed why we were late and were very chill about it. Tapas to begin with – tapenade, roasted feta, Ceviche – plus another cocktail and then thoroughly pleasing steak dishes and a salad all shared between two. A good wine list with glass and bottle options, we chose a Jericho Fiano, and tbh I can’t remember much after that. Must have been good!

I don’t often take the time to review but it would be unfair to not give this 5 star review. I booked as a group of 24 last Saturday night and the staff could not do enough for my group. All dietary taken care of easily and anything else that was requested. Food was wonderful and the group were still talking about it throughout the week. A wonderful team of people working so well together, something that you just don’t see so often these days. This restaurant is always busy and it is easy to see why. Deffo include this place when looking for somewhere to have a meal.

10/10, Amazing place! Food was so tasty, I hadn’t tried kangaroo so I was a bit scared about the taste but how they made the kangaroo tapa was so yummy.

There is no doubt the food is just fantastic, if not better. I was lucky enough to be looked after by a young Scottish lass called Stella and she was absolutely amazing. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and she could recommend the most amazing dishes. She made sure we always had a nice cold drink, Stella is amazing, the food is amazing, the atmosphere was perfect. Well done Stella and good luck in Australia!
