I’m a local and been meaning to try the Monkey Nut for ages, and am so glad I finally did!! The staff were really friendly and engaging, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious! I will be going back for more salt and pepper squid.

The service was excellent. The food was yummy. The wine was so good that I bought a bottle to take home with me. They had a cute gift shop where my husband bought gourmet cookies to take home with us. We hadn’t made a booking and they still found a table for us and because there was a bit of a wait for our food they gave us a complimentary small cheese platter which was exquisite! I would definitely come back. I love this place. It’s a great place for a lunch, brunch or a wine and cheese platter. I highly recommend this place.
