Stopped in for breakfast while travelling. We received amazing service and the takeaway food was great. We got the breakfast pouting and the breakfast melt as pictured. Lively dine in eating area as well as a stocked bar. Would definitely reccomend.

Great food and atmosphere, staff is friendly and the owner is a very cool guy always happy to have a chat. The chicken wings with blue cheese dipping sauce are amazing. After that I usually get one of my faves the Reuben sandwich. Recommended!!

Great service, brilliant food, and some good drinks on offer. Perfect place to drop by and eat at alongside the highway. The food was served in a timely manner and was very tasty. The Canadian theme was everywhere and very charming, eh. Highly recommend getting a bite to eat if you’re in that neck of the woods.

Great spot for lunch or dinner when travelling! We had the Rueben sandwich, their in house slaw (which is amazing), and great onion rings. Also a Canadian Caesar cocktail was a highlight. Will be back for sure!

Food was amazing, service was top notch and attentive. Cocktails were a delight. And the decor was surprising from the outdoor exterior, if you ever travel through you must stop.

We visited here on Friday for a late lunch. I have not been there for a number of years – in fact, it was with the previous owners when I did. I must admit I was blown away by how lovely everything looked. So beautifully renovated and decorated. Loved the Canadian touches – as did our Canadian friends when we sent photos while we talked and waited for our food. We have had take away pizzas in the last twelve months and ordered them again. They were as good as we expected – freshly made, lots of lovely toppings and the crusts just right. The Cheesy toast and Yam fries were perfect. I would have to say their fries are worth the visit alone. They are the best ever! As it was a special occasion (we farewelled her daughter who is returning to Townsville) we shared a Xango for dessert. Wow! White chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake wrapped in a tortilla, deep fried and sprinkled in cinnamon sugar was amazing. Very yummy and recommend sharing as it was very rich in taste! My husband is not a cheesecake fan and he opted for dessert from the selection of cakes and pastries. He chose a passionfruit slice and was very impressed. Both desserts were served with ice cream. Now I need to return to try out their coffee. And I am sure there will be another dessert that tempts me as well. Highly recommend this little restaurant. The staff are friendly, service was quick. It was a delight all round.

Table of 6 with a booking who were excited to come, this trip had been planned for weeks. Waited 20+ minutes between ordering drinks & receiving them, food took over 45 minutes. Entrees didn’t impress. We each ordered sliders which were tiny and cold, unimpressive food and so overpriced. We would have ordered more drinks and dessert but were so over it by that time and didn’t have hours to wait. Server asked how everything was, we advised average and she just walked away?! Feedback provided after paying & they couldn’t care less, stating they were busy (they weren’t but certainly could have been with us!!). Huge letdown, won’t be back.
