We’ve been regulars here for a few years and usually the food has been good. This time around we had the worst experience. We ordered a chicken lollipop, two biryanis, Veg Manchurian & veg fried rice. The biryanis looked & tasted like pulavs, the raita came 10 minutes after the biryani. The fried rice was exactly the same colour as the biryani (yellow). Nothing like indo Chinese fried rice. The Manchurian was nothing like Manchurian – extremely sweet as if it was dipped in tomato ketchup. It was a red sauce as opposed to a Manchurian sauce which is dark brown. Throughly disappointing & waste of money.

Really loved this vibrant authentic Indian restraunt. We ordered the vegetarian platter which is enough for 4 people as well as matar Mushroom and chilli paneer with garlic naan and masala kulcha naan. Highly recommend the dishes here. Very authentic flavour. Next time we will probably try the paneer with creamy gravy rather than the chilli paneer (sweet chilli sauce base) as it was too sweet for our taste buds.

Interesting set up with a train decor internally but definitely made it feel more authentic! Food was great and interesting with plenty of new dishes I had never had before – a welcome and tasty experience for all of us.

We celebrated a first birthday party in Maharaja and the customer service, food , ambience was impeccable. This was not the first time we hosted a party in the restaurant and each time it has been a pleasant experience. Great work Team Maharaja!

I love the design of train experience room, it made you feel you were eating on the train that’s cool ! Fancy and relaxing restaurant to having a date. Food was so amazing, much clear flavor than other restaurant. Chili is really spicy, rice with coconut is so tasty. Garlic nan is crispy and yummy! 5 stars deserved
