Best Croatian in Canberra and one of my favorites for a casual meal with family and friends.. Both the meats and the seafood are always great. This last visit we had the octopus, an Adriatic seafood platter and the meat platter. Everything was tasty, fresh and perfectly cooked. The meats were well seasoned and all tender. The octopus was very tender with a nice charcoal grill flavor. All the servings are generous.

It’s always a treat coming here. Yes it could be considered higher priced than elsewhere… but I feel you get what you pay for. It’s quaint with a great atmosphere, the quality of the food, attention to detail and service has been superb every time I’ve been here. My favourite spot for fine dining in Canberra hands down. Great food, lovely service … only problem I encountered was noisy surroundings. It is next to impossible to have normal conversation as the restaurant is small and lacking any soft surfaces to absorb the loud sound. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

Visiting from interstate, ordered a seafood platter for one and was not disappointed. The grilled fish had great marinate and cooked perfectly. The calamari was lightly battered and cooked in fresh oil. The ambience felt like a home cooked meal and the staff are very welcoming

What a great experience. It’s taken us probably 7 years to visit, we’ve lived in the area and walked past a bunch of times. We had the hot and cold seafood platter which was pricey but worth every cent. Yummo. Lovely staff too. Chargrilled seafood to perfection and can’t fault any aspect of the meal.
