Went to this place for dinner, we ordered creamy butter chicken, sizzling pork belly and rock salted squid for entree. I was extremely disappointed with the main dishes. First of all, malaysian creamy butter chicken should be as advertised which is creamy and saucy. We were served fried pieces of chicken with DRIZZLED “creamy!” butter sauce. It was literally drizzled and not the typical malaysian butter chicken – it was almost $26 for pieces of fried chicken with minimal drizzling sauce. I asked the staff and they said they’ve changed the menu, and apparently management has changed too so not entirely sure if the chefs have changed? the food should be as advertised, especially when you’re going to a malaysian place to eat malaysian dishes. Secondly, sizzling pork was average. We paid 3 dishes for around $85+ so for the price of malaysian dishes and the quality that we good, it’s actually a disappointment. The mixed salad that comes with our calamari has a big stinging needle plant, and we told the staff about it but they didn’t knew what it was – fair enough as it comes from mixed salad package but probably best to check next time when serving the salad to customers.

Visited this place with my team for an evening dinner. Malaysian Food was outstanding at this place. Staff was friendly and keen to accommodate a big group with everyone giving suggestions, but overall, many thanks, team Madam lu, for making our evening memorable…food could be a bit more spicy for some Malaysian Delights..loved it and will be visiting soon with my family and friends

Ok so some items here are hit and miss, others amazing. Some items bought in frozen dumplings reheated, other items handmade from scratch and delicious. Such a huge menu there’s no doubt the reason why it has to be done this way. Have been here several times.

Tried their roasted duck laksa noodles soup. Presentation normal but as I was expecting some duck meat, it turned out to be very disappointing. Charged for $26 I only served with duck bones

Tried their signature Bak Kut Teh and vegetarian fried rice. The food was tasty, but pork rib soup was in small amount given the price $27.9. Fried rice tasted amazing and reminded me of home!

Significant decrease in food quality under new management. New menu items not as authentic. Cooking style/kitchen has changed on exsisting items.

Good homecooked Malaysian food. My favorite dish is the Mud crab or seafood E-mien. The noodle texture is chewy and tastes of seafood. Another good dish is the prawn paste chicken. Almost everything is good here. They do a buffet once a month for $39/ person.

5/5 Stars for the food, it was fantastic. The Char Kuay Teow is nice and has a good spicy punch. The butter chicken was fantastic definitely the highlight of the meal.

Wow! Everything was so delicious. Spring rolls had succulent meat inside. The pan fried dumplings were crispy outside and a yummy broth with the meat inside. Tofu Goreng sauce with peanuts and cucumber so fresh and the tofu was actually really good (normally I don’t like tofu). Beef rendang had a fluffy flaky handmade roti. Beef with ginger and shallots so tender and flavourful, the sauce is thick and gooey, so good. Fried rice, plain rice, and a veggie dish with some kind of spinach? Perfection. Plenty of big tables around so even with a full restaurant it did not feel crowded. The young wait staff work hard and we’re friendly. They sometimes seemed overwhelmed, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, just an observation, but it doesn’t take away from my 5 star rating. I will definitely be back to try the Hainanese Chicken Rice, apparently there is a Saturday special for $11!
