Visited based on the reviews, and wanted to grab some takeaway to have in the park. Very substantial fillings in the banh mis (had chicken, roast pork and tofu) plus a meatball skewer. Hoi sin was a bit overpowering. All ingredients were very fresh.

Great food to be had here from fresh bread, fish n chips to Pho & everything else in between. The Bahn Mi rolls are absolutely delicious. I’m originally from Melbourne & they are def on point. Don’t have to go back to Melbourne to get my rolls anymore. The owners are super friendly too , it gets very busy at lunch time which is hard when you only have 30 min break.

Located on Harold St in Wendouree, despite being a Fish and Chip shop, the new owners, had been operating there for about a year or 2 now. They have stamped themselves as a place that sells some decent Vietnamese food. From Banh Mi, to Pho, Vietnamese Coffee to Vermicelli Noodles. Don’t fret guys, they still do the good old traditional fish and chips and also some great doughnuts. The Banh Mi, I must say, they are GENEROUS with the pork, huge chunky pieces with the usual picked veges, hoi sin sauce and coriander in their ultra crispy bread. Give these guys a go. I don’t think these guys will be hidden once the word starts to spread around. No instagram page from them. Just good old word of mouth.

We got 3 bahn mis, a meatball skewer and a chocolate donut whilst driving from VIC to SA. All were very fresh, flavourful and very reasonably priced. I believe the place is owned by Vietnamese and you can really taste the authenticity in the meatballs and bahn mi.
