I ordered a large takeaway coffee and when I got home, I saw that it was only half full as per the photo. When I politely asked for a replacement, this was abruptly denied. Definitely do not recommend this cafe. I was really disappointed and surprised at the response. I still feel upset hours later at the harsh response I was met with, which I don’t understand given I was charged for a full coffee and only given half and needed to make a trip back to raise it.

One of the few places which had empty seats available on the long weekend lunchtime. Food was ok, nothing exceptional but at least it was quick! Had the turkey cranberry bagel (ok) and the pork sandwich (quite good).

In Lorne for a cycling event and a few extra days exploring. Had coffee and the bacon/egg roll here each morning before my ride. Both were excellent, and if they upsell you on the home made hash brown…..take it! Truely excellent.

Poached eggs with mushrooms and spinach on sourdough was amazing! Flat white and freshly squeezed juice were good too. Relaxed atmosphere, just sit by the window and watch the people go by.

The food was amazing!! Quick to come out of the kitchen and cooked to perfection!! The staff were fabulous! Kind and courteous once they realised I needed a bit of extra help with the menu. A great location too. Just wow!!

Came across this place during our visit to Lorne and decided to stop off for some lunch. We weren’t disappointed; the food was delicious! We shared a breakfast between two of us and it was delicious. Really friendly staff too. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

As a biker, Lorne is an essential place to stop and feel up the caffeine, and if you also care about the taste of the coffee, you won’t be disappointed with Lorne Central coffee.

Had a great experience here. The staff were super friendly, the food and coffee were great, especially the Potato Rosti. I’ve never been upsold sides at a cafe before, but I am not disappointed, I could have just eaten a plate of those for breakfast and left happy!
