This is a local bakery that local people love a lot. They had a great variety of cakes for you to choose. Lots of gluten free options too. Just the thing that, just like many other European style bakeries, their cakes and pastries generally could suit European taste more than Asian – they could be too sweet for many Asian people.

Love going here! Honestly such a beautiful cafe with the most delicious homemade food! Only downside is there is no where to sit and eat, I hope one day they can bring this option back even with the limited space. I occasionally get put off going in if it’s too busy because it’s super cramped trying to order. Other than that, best spot in Hobart!

We had a cake delivered to the hotel for my 40th. Cake was excellent, best cake I have had in years. We had the chocolate salted caramel hazelnut praline cake. The perfect balance of chocolate, saltiness and sweet.

I was quite disappointed with the cake. I had ordered a Red Velvet cake for my Mother-in-law’s birthday. When I picked it up, it looked nicely presented, although I did notice it appeared a bit dry. I had hoped that this might be just on the surface, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. People who tried the cake also agreed that it was very dry and seemed overcooked. It’s safe to say this was one of the least enjoyable cakes I’ve ever experienced. Interestingly, I could have saved $75 and gotten a much better Red Velvet cake from Woolworths for just $7.50.

This place is one of my go-to places. Everything is always delicious. I’m not usually one for vegetarian food, but everything I have had here has been so good.

This place offers endless variety yet always delicious. You might be lucky to find your favourites but if not, you will soon add more to that list. Savoury, sweet, vegetarian, gluten free – all catered for. Beautiful to look at, even better to taste.

Our favourite breakfast find in Hobart! We could smell the buttery pastries before we even walked in the door. Everything looked tantalising and there were 6 of us, so we walked away with one of almost everything. Everything was nice, but my favourites were the cheese and green onion scone, the lemon brulee tart, the apple custard puff … the savoury pies (veggie korma and mushroom) were good too, and came with a tasty housemade apple chutney. Most of the goodies were so fresh out of the oven that they were still warm, and a delight to eat. Staff were lovely too. It is a little space, takeaway only, but I will absolutely be back the next time I am in Hobart.

Hidden gem! I would call this a bakery rather than a café: no bread loaves, but instead, an impressive selection of baked goods prepared fresh in front of you, making the choice really hard. Tried a few sweet and savoury options and it made me want to come back. Many vegetarian options available.
