Love this little cafe which is very easy to miss and to be honest, looks small, and not like much from the outside. But inside extends out into a private courtyard out back with a great coastal atmosphere.

My friend and I ordered coffees to have in-house, pointing at the china cups and the server confirmed that we were having the coffees ‘here’. It took about ten minutes and the server arrived at the table with two coffees in takeaway cups. We said we had ordered coffees in cups (very politely) and she apologised and returned quickly with two below average coffees in cups, that had obviously been poured out of the paper cups.

The “expensive table tops” are more important than the comfort and enjoyment of customers. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! The owner chastised our 1 year old for tapping their cup on the table, saying it made marks and the tables were expensive! Sorry? Putting plates on the table, people dropping cutlery and generally using the table leaves marks!! If preserving the table tops in pristine condition is the most important goal you have for your establishment, may I suggest, placemats, coasters, plastic crockery and cutlery, and high-chairs with a tray table. We’ve been customers of this cafe for years, but after today, being made to feel so unwelcome, we won’t be back!!!!

Great coffee but such terrible service, couldn’t remember why we hadn’t been their in a while and then it all quickly came back when staff act like you are an inconvenience for being there. Twin fins and one on labalsa all within walking distance much friendlier options.

My friend and I ordered 2 coffees on Wednesday and was asked takeaway or have here in a cup, we replied drink here plz. The coffees then came to our table inside, in take away cups. We asked politely that we had ordered coffee to have here, the waitress then went back to the order area, tipped our coffee into cups and bought the cups back to our table!!!! My coffee had over flowed into the saucer!! VERY DISAPPOINTING Little Miss Saine!!! The barista should have remade the coffees as it was her fault !! At $5.70 a coffee this is poor form!! We will not be going back!!

There’s a couple of cafes in close proximity and this one is our pick for the coffee and more substantial menu for food.

Booked a table for 7 people four weeks ago. They rang back the following day to confirm our booking. Rang the day of the booking to confirm the time only to be told there was no booking. They admit they had our name and number. Three of our party had flown in from interstate. Appalling customer service. Will NEVER attend this premises.
