Went in for a Monday lunch, & ordered the 450gm Porterhouse steak, to be cooked medium rare, with a pepper ‘sauce’ . Chips & salad came with it. Steak would have been lucky to be near 450gm even before it was cooked, & it came out medium well done. Dry & chewy. Pepper ‘sauce’ was watery & tasteless. More like a poor mushroom sauce with a couple of peppercorns in it, then watered down. The first few chips were ok, then they became hard & very ordinary as they cooled. Salad was very bland, with just mixed lettuce, ONE cherry tomato, two slices of cucumber, a tiny bit of grated carrot, & some alfalfa looking stuff that tasted like grass. Dressing was bitter.

Portion is unnecessarily big, but you’re paying for the size. Took around 30 mins for it to come out. Cup glasses were dirty and then replaced for more dirty glasses. Everything is bland, chicken was dry, salad was sad. Sauce on the nachos were fine.

Massive serving. Great for sharing if you don’t eat much or are not hungry. The Sticky Beef Ribs are so flavoursome, highly recommended. Seafood basket – fish fingers, prawns and mainly calamari but delicious. Lamb shanks are not bad, just lack some flavours. Overall, great food.
