Went there on a Saturday morning and there were quite some patrons there, and I’m lucky enough to grab the last available table without waiting.

Very very polite service from who we had, unfortunately, the food was just ok. The large cut fries were not fries but rather regular cut wedges, and like any good Cheech and Chong adventure: were baked, not fried. Had some simple meals but it did cost a bit for it, we also got told that we just missed the lunch rush that had an hour wait for food, but waited 40 minutes anyway. I do think that the kitchen services two separate restaurant areas so not sure how many customers there were in total. Not many options for food or drink either, and by the time we got there around 1pm they were out of a few options like the smoothie. I had the pulled pork roll, which really was just meat and coleslaw in a quite oily bun. I am glad that they do check vaccination certificate’s but don’t think we’ll be back there.

I love the Larder. It has a rustic, woody feel, lovely wooden floors and tables. Excellent coffee and great staff. A great place to go and chill, write poetry, think, or just zone out.

Great food, service and really good coffee. AND they cooked the eggs exactly how we asked for them, that can be challenging for some places but The Larder nailed it. Definitely will be returning.

This is one of the original best coffee cafe in Daylesford. Their Mexican bean with egg is the best. Eggs cooked to perfection with runny egg yolks, perfect to eat with beans and toast. Pulled pork roll is very tasty. Pulled pork is soft and moist. The bun is super soft and very nice. This cafe used to have baked eggs, but probably in seasonal menu nowadays. Limited tables inside and some outside. Seats comfortable. Staff is friendly too. Price is average. Plenty of parking nearby.

Food and coffee were pretty standard. unfortunately the front desk lady had attitudes ♀️ and no greeting to patrons. Waited to be seated for long and she avoided eye contact even we were standing just in front of her. We paid around $80 including weekends surcharge that was not worth it. Despite that, two stars go to the old lady server who had a mask on and unsalted kids meal chips.

Probably the best big brekky I’ve ever had! The food covered the whole plate and was even on our table in 15mins! A bit more expensive than most big brekky meals but 100% worth it! Friendly, efficient staff, great food. Coming back for sure!

A favourite coffee spot in town. It’s always busy and sometimes hard to get a table, this is a good sign with many other venue options close by.
