Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Central Bistro. The staff were kind and accommodating. I enjoyed chatting with them while I was in town for dinner with friends. The steak was well cooked and they make a good gin mixer. Went for an early dinner on a Sunday so it was a bit quiet, but it was good to be able to chat with my friends in peace.

Do not book a table by the toilet door. Window seating is popular, but if you wait a bit you could get one. Scallops were a bit dissapointing, 3 very small Scallops on a shell x 2 shells ie: 6 small Scallops total. I loved my Gummy Shark though. The banoffee spring rolls were also a bit dissapointing. Couldn’t recommend them. Otherwise, an enjoyable venue.

This place was very busy, however staff managed to fit us in for lunch. We had the fish and chips with salad, one of the best I gave ever had. Service was welcoming, and meals were promptly delivered.
