I came for beef udon, I received a large bowl with a clean taste of beef and bonito. Delicious. I was not keen on the red strips of pickles, they were too hot for me, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. The service is fast m, need to ask for anything as everything you may need is on the table: soy sauce, salt, pepper, chopsticks and box of tissue (?)

Went here on a busy Sunday night. Managed to get the last available table, so didn’t have to wait. Restaurant is small capacity, so usually on a busy night, it is common to wait for a table to become available.

Service was poor. One waitress was trying her best to cover for another who clearly wasn’t interested. The food was average. The tempura was the only dish that I would recommend. We had the gyoza- burnt. Sashimi platter- warm and fish wasn’t fresh. Karaage- pieces were the size of chicken tenders.

As always the food is amazing here, I always get the Teriyaki Salmon Dinner Set and Karaage Chicken. This place never ceases to amaze me, extremely high quality food each and every time. Would highly recommend! This place also has the best Miso soup I’ve ever tasted.

That’s the photo of $33 mixed tempura platter with 2 pieces of small prawns missing. After sending it back, it went to another table, and then back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, it came back out with 2 pieces of prawns added and other tempura cold. I should have walked out. Ingredients were small, not fresh. Execution was mediocre. Stay away.
