Luckily I didn’t swallow that piece of stainless steel scorer. I complain to one of the staff, and he just took it away without any apologies..just ignored

One of our family favourites, great selection and good consistency… always a pleasure to visit Kintaro.

Good location and friendly staff. The sushi is above average. There are good quality items but they are more like a fast food style. Some sushi items should be normally served at room temperature which is crucial for you to taste the flavours but here most of items were served a bit cold. Serving cold sushi is masking lots of flavours. Also some of the items were a bit too big as one bite! The whole point is to have all the combination together as one bite.

Very good place, good food and service. The food seems very fresh and well prepared.

It was my first visit. I didn’t like the customer service. The shari rice was loose, I barely managed to pick up with the chopstick without breaking the sushi. It’s probably a place I won’t tell my friends or go back to.

The customer service was very bad, both front staff and kitchen staff. They didn’t inform us last order is at 8.30pm when we went in at 8.15pm. And the staff who called Quinney, her attitude was really bad and grumpy when she kept asking us to order because it was nearly 8.30 (last order time). If they mentioned about the last order time before we are seated, we won’t order. Also, the aburi sushi were horrible. The sushi rice was burnt and it’s not edible. The sauce on top of the sushi was really salty. Overall, we will not come back and will not go to any of the Kintaro sushi shop. They need to provide a serious training for all of their staffs on how to provide great customer services!!

I don’t understand the compulsion to cover everything in kupi mayonnaise and some brown sauce which I think was teriyaki:

Food is great however the staff here are unfriendly and lack basic retail people skills. I had worked retail for quite a few years in past so I’m generally very understanding but these staff members clearly do not care about the customers or the job itself. This place doesn’t deserve your money, go somewhere else

Probably the best version of sushi train in the whole of Adelaide. Price range: $$. Quality sashimi and large generous sizes of sushi. Easily crowded in weekends dinner so be prepared for about 15min wait average.
