To eat here was a last-minute decision, and I didn’t make a reservation on time, but the manager on that night, 29 Aug 23, was very helpful and kind and gave me a nice seat.. Amazing is how I would describe Kingsleys Steakhouse. Must-go if around Darling Harbour! I will come back to visit or try its sister outlet Steersons right on the harbour (brighter more fine-dining whereas Kingsley seemed more casual).

Ten years ago, when I was still an inexperienced, pseudo-literary person who couldn’t read, I came to this restaurant. Today, revisiting it, I truly appreciate the charm and uniqueness of the dry-aged beef steak. Normally, it’s aged for 21 days in the initial stage, but this Rib-eye seems to be not quite there yet. Nonetheless, it didn’t disappoint, as it exudes the aroma of nuts and cream, capturing my attention for savoring. Each piece of aged beef steak has its distinctive flavor, thanks to the breakdown of amino acids, making them all different.
