The venue is great. You would expect a fantastic seafood dish right on the beach. Fish and chips was ok. Spanner crab linguine a disgrace. Over cooked pasta and it could have been a tin of tuna instead of crab for all I could taste. Couldn’t eat it.

My parents and I came here for lunch after driving up that morning from Brisbane. All 3 of us ordered the Chicken Schnitzel. Not only was the chicken tender and juicy, but they were some of the biggest schnitzels I’ve ever seen. Combined with some tasty chips and a nice salad, we were very satisfied indeed!

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was mediocre and disappointing for the price. Although there were very few people in the dining area, because of the live music in an adjoining area, it was impossible to converse with others at our table. The children’s area was not suitable for younger children due to the access they had to inappropriate computer games. Would not return.

Had the buffet breakfast there for mothers day. Food was plentiful, staff came around to check in on us and they even decorated the entry way for photo opportunities. Very considerate and thoughtful.

Terrific food, great menu and priced to the region. Staff very efficient..maybe a bit too much as they like to ensure you are in your way soon after eating, then again they do have a disco to organise soon after dinner…

We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Mother’s Day – food is better here than at the local surf club or other taverns that we have tried locally. Lovely beach decor inside or a choice of sitting on the large alfresco deck. The bistro had a decent menu with good selection of meals. Everyone in our family enjoyed their meals – portions were generous and steaks cooked just right. My daughter also enjoyed having her face painted for free and my youngest son enjoyed the small games room with some free arcade games. Very family friendly – we will look forward to eating here again for a casual meal. Well done to all the team!

The food was delicious couldn’t fault it, and the staff super friendly, would stick to the bistro side though and not the bar. The floor is unbelievably sticky to the point if wearing thongs it feels like you’re walking through a mud pit. Apart from that would recommend
