Unfortunately not been a good experience the last multiple times we have tried the place. Often not open during advertised trading hours and fish has regularly tasted “jelly like” yet calamari tough and rubbery. $10 hot chips will get you two large handfuls if you’re lucky and never seems enough to feed our fam of 5 (2A 3 young children). Seems to only have had this sort of service in the last 6 months, prior to this was fine. Feel bad posting a low review however it’s been continually disappointing meals

Now this has been the best seafood in the West. Family business for 30 odd years always clean full of stock like everything seafood, salads and Greek delights for dessert esp. BAKLAVA!! Freshly home made by grandmother, you should see 5 Greek friends try to split it evenly without a fight. Open 8 am to 8pm. lunch time and dinner is so busy they need 5 staff at least. Plenty of disabled parking available and access to shop and outdoor dining byo. Toilets 2 shops away. They let you get order even if 1 or 2$$ short, they say fix next time. Even do large orders for special occasions, as usual must pay first. If you bring wine they’ll give you glasses for it. Kids would love the rice pudding for dessert too.

This place has been consistently bad over the years. Their calamari is stretchy and rubbery with old fishy taste. Fish too oily and lack flavour and even the chips taste like reconstituted potatoes or something. Wouldn’t recommend.

So tired of planning to have dinner here & get there & they’re not open. Twice in the last 2 weeks. Once at 7pm where they said sorry grill is closed then 6.40pm on a Sunday completely closed even though on website it says open until 8pm. So very unreliable which is so disappointing especially since there aren’t many choices in the burbs.

One of the worst fish and chips ever.. bought the family pack and the fish was literally crumbs only.. the fish itself is very thin you barley taste it. Chips was little and clearly wasn’t made fresh. No way I will try this place another time.

Just awful rubbish. Spent 75 ordered 3 pieces of fish, one snapper 2 sea pearch. 10 dollars of chips which I was told was not enough for 3 people so they said 12. And six sea scallops. These were put in the bag uncooked? Fish was soggy and not Cooked properly obviously not fresh either, there was a handful of chips and the seas scallops were uncooked. Just really poor value. Will never go there again it’s actually gotten worse.

Having tried fish & chips in a lot of places around the world, I would say that this little unassuming fish & chip shop is one of the best. Always fresh and their crumbed fish is the best. I wish I could find an equivalent in Sydney.
