Worst customer experience and server ever. I generally don’t give bad reviews because I always thing there is some reason a person behaved badly. But today this restaurant food was not upto the mark and the person serving me had the worst attitude ever her name is Emily. I ordered all you can eat and I couldn’t finish the last dish. When I asked for a take out box. Emily was very rude and said this is ALL YOU CAN EAT NOT ALL YOU CAN TAKE HOME CAN YOU READ?!!! I was like shocked I told her but I already paid and she said FINE YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA. And she was screaming. I told her fine I don’t need and the way she acted like I had committed a crime by asking a take out box. Never again to this place. Btw the food wasn’t great either.

It’s a bare pass at best, we think. On the good side, the place is nicely and pleasantly fitted out. Service was lovely throughout from the female server here too. Prices seem very reasonable as well. But, we thought there were negatives that we just couldn’t overlook here. My seafood bento was pretty ordinary. I’d describe the food as a bit stodgy throughout and middling in quality. I struggled to finish it, a very unusual situation for me. My partner had the same difficulty with her bento box. We found the experience quite disappointing and would struggle to find a reason to return, we think.

3.5 more than a 3. Not authentic, sushi rice not seasoned, cheap cut beef is tough and first time I’ve seen a tempura brocolli. Other than that it’s generally edible, just adjust expectations as such. Plenty of other more authentic places in Melbourne, service and atmosphere is positive if you just want a local simple dinner rather than cook.

Having lunch, no booking and able to get a table, lovely staff, gorgeous full menu and the quality of food is delicious! The freshly prepared sushi and sashimi is a must, everything is so tasty! Already booked in my next meal with friends!

I dined here solo one night and had a delicious meal – I ordered lots of small plates and enjoyed them all, the pork gyoza was my favourite. The Staff were all lovely also. I’ll be back!

Ordered takeaway from here the other night and it was surprisingly good. The bento was fresh and large with lots of variety. Meanwhile, the eel in my unagi don was slightly rubbery and I wish it came with egg, but overall the dish was good and generously sized with a nice flavour profile.
