Food was very average, nothing crispy about Peking pork,spring rolls tasted raw,fried rice poor,beef and black bean very poor on beef it was all vegetables ,honey wontons prawn hips average and they got 4.6 stars I recommend Willow Garden Chinese restaurants at 4.1 stars is way better food then kan Tong

Bloody amazing. Got takeout here after reading all the good reviews and they’re not wrong. This is possibly the best Chinese I’ve had in Brisbane. Try the crispy plum beef and sweet and sour pork. The honey chicken is nice but very subtle. I loved it but just be aware it’s not smothered in sauce. Dine inight be a pokey experience this is more a take out joint but it’s awesome. Highly recommended.

Food has always been consistent and tasty. Prices are reasonable, and service is always good. The short soup is our favourite as well as the special fried rice and beef in peking sauce. Kan-Tong is definitely our go-to for Chinese in the area.

My family and I thought they had closed and moved away years ago however our usual Chinese shop was closed for the festive season so I googled Chinese shop and KanTong came up. Rang and low and behold they were open and still in the same location (2 doors down). Anyway we ordered Chicken Cashew, Beef in Black bean, Mongolian Lamb, Honey Chicken, SnS Pork and jumbo spring rolls. Oh and prawn crackers.
