The seafood buffet is great, lots of choices and the crab and muscles were a delight. Bit on the expensive side for $79 pp. Which you can get better ones in Sydney for that price. Then again it is in the mountains. If you are hungry, this is the place to go in the blue.

Had the high tea today with partner. I’ve had a fair few high teas elsewhere before and they were always great, this however was the worse I’ve had. I had the vegan option, for some reason they had rolled the vegan and gluten free options into one combination. The scones were so tough and chewy and practically inedible, looked around at the other tables and saw no one else touched those too.

Went here last week. Place was extremely over priced. Dinner buffet was really disgusting, food was so stale and gross. But staff were very kind. Wouldn’t eat here again. Didn’t try the breakfast but rumours are it is alot better.

Was here for breakfast while staying at Fairmont, the coffee we ordered was so bad it was not fit for drinking at all, my wife took one sip and gave up, we ended up getting coffee from a local coffee cart instead, we both ordered the eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were very over cooked, hard all the way through, muffin was slightly burnt, the ham was very obviously straight out of the fridge and still very cold when it got to our table which made the whole dish cold in minutes, the very small amount of food service hollandaise sauce added had very little taste to it, this is actually a pretty easy sauce to make, if your chefs can’t do it, you need new ones as it should also have a touch of lemon in it. The only thing done correctly (the wilted spinach) was not listed on the menu, probably because wilted spinach is part of an eggs Florentine dish, not Benedict. Needless to say, we both had a mouthful or 2 and left immediately, were not asked why we left, went to reception and cancelled the breakfasts for the rest of our stay but unfortunately were not asked why, we then went to a local cafe in Leura which was very nice.

Buffet is very expensive for what you get. $79 pp and the buffet is equivalent to what you would get at an average RSL. Definitely not worth the money. At one point we were even restricted on how much roast lamb we could be served because there wasn’t enough. Very average.

This is the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had. Wish I took photos to show the setup but this is simply amazing for a full breakfast. The omelette station is my favourite and the Vittoria coffee is the best. Definitely a must try.

Wonderful food and service. Will be going back again. The seafood buffet was amazing. The prawns, oysters and smoked salmon were extremely fresh and were a highlight for me.
