Our dinner experience here was pretty good. Having just returned from KL, we wanted to get another taste of the fantastic Malaysian flavours. It’s important to understand that there are different influences on Malaysian cusine depending on region. The flavours here were very good however I found the portion sizes a little bit small. The home made tofu is the perfect accompaniment to a bowl of rice.

Small local restaurant offers decent range of Malaysian food! The portions was quite large. Staffs were attentive and friendly. I can tell the restaurant is popular for its authentic flavor. I didn’t like the chick satay as it was quite dry. The seafood laksa was excellent!

Great food, reminds me of home! I highly recommend the Homemade Tofu with Broccoli and Minced Pork even if you’re not into tofu, the texture and taste is different to your usual tofu.

We tried the nasi Lemak with Rendang and the Ipoh chicken and prawn soup. The rice had a faint scent of coconut milk and the Rendang was soft although not as aromatic as I would have expected. The horfun soup is deceptively moorish, at first it tastes like a bowl of soup that you drink when you’re under the weather and by the end you keep drinking that broth.

This is my lovely restaurant in the neighbourhood. A delicious Malaysian flavour, quick service and friendly. Mostly our food is takeaway, but we love it. Well done, team Ipoh Parade. Highly recommended!
