This is one of the best Indian restaurant in albury as they have very good and delicious Food which is very much aligned to the Indian authentic taste. We had over late night dinner over their and the owner was so nice that he took our orders over the call as we were getting late reaching their secondly, They also be prepared every thing very fresh and nice. Okay, this review is a little overdue, as my wife and I have been here several times. In fact it is our default go to restaurant every time we stop over in Albury on our way to/from NSW/ViC. I am also going to preface this with the note that my wife is a coeliac, which makes finding a reliable eatery very tough. Every time we have been to the Indian Chimney we have not only had exemplary service and hospitality, but the food has been second to none. My personal favorite is chicken tikka masala ( better than I have had anywhere) and my wife is still talking about how good the seasonal vegetable curry is two days after the meal. Sorry, but we had to dig in to the meal before the photo was taken, just couldn’t wait! Love this place, we’ll be back for sure!

Very impressive food, some of the best Indian we’ve had for some time! The Mutton Rarhar was amazing with lots of meat, the fish curry sauce was fabulous and the cheese naan was so full of cheese. Great food and nice restaurant.

Another excellent Indian food in Albury! The service was really good (the supervisor/boss noticed our table was a little wobbly and ask d a staff to fix it up) and they gave us plenty of containers to pack up all our leftovers. The tandoori chicken and mint sauce was the standout for me. The chicken was really moist and delicious, mint sauce was great when paired with it (and it doesn’t have the bright green I associate with artificial colouring!). The veggie curry was good and the lamb madras was tender and flavourful. Portions were good sized. If I have to nitpick, the only negative is the wait for the food.

When we went at the reserved time the waitress said the booking is not there and consulted the manager. I clearly showed her the reservation with proof. Both waitress and the manager handled the situation very badly, we walked out of the restaurant to go to a different Indian restaurant for dinner. Indian Chimney employees should learn customer service skills before actually serving food.
