From the start service was wonderful, we ordered a variety of menu items between the 5 of us and everything was delicious could not fault one thing. Looking into the kitchen it looks like alot of staff working but can understand why and it look like a well oijed machine. Waitresses were extreamily attentive and quick at clearing and readying tables for incoming customers. This place is must try. We will definitely be back during our next trip south.

Been a while since our last visit to Il Lago Mt.Warrigal and in a nutshell the food was ordinary, which was unusual for their usual standard. We had 2 bolognese dishes that were dry and tasteless, and 2 other cream based dishes shared by my wife and daughter found them both quite ill later that evening. Most disappointing was that our table of 8 were squashed onto a table more suited for 6 whilst a table of 8 sat unoccupied during our visit. I hope our next visit is much better, if we decide to return.

Good food and place to enjoy your evening. BYO is available and nice staff and service. Prices are little high, however, due to location and remote area it’s understandable. Location is also beautiful for after dinner lake sunset.
