Manager on the headset was pushing us to order quickly through the drive through when we hadn’t looked at the menu. When we get to the window to pay, the poor kid on the headset didn’t even get our order at all so we had to repeat the whole thing again without the menu board. I told him to cancel the order and we could come in to order. Terrible management, I’ve had some really bad drive through experiences in my life and this is by far the absolute worst. Would give a zero out of 10 if I could and this is from someone who has also worked in fast food before.

Have to wait in the car bays everytime you go to Busselton HJ’s for your food. Not unusual to wait over 20 mins. I love HJ’s but this place has turned me off going there. Needs a new manager to turn things around. I go to other fast food outlets now as they are so much faster.

Had to wait in the bay for 15 minutes apparently waiting on a cheeseburger. Whoppers were cold. And no toy in the kids meal which says on the receipt that there was. Honestly the slowest service I have ever come across. Car before me went into bay already one in bay and while I was waiting on the other side two more cars came in. What sort of service do you call that. Not happy but obviously we don’t have a choice

So upset after my visit today, all I ordered was a strawberry thickshake and they gave me a plain white thickshake with no flavouring at all. I went back and asked if it was strawberry they said it was but I said I literally tasted it there is no flavour and it’s not even pink. They threw it in the bin and made another one and I could see and they threw the next one in the bin too, then they had someone else make one and they threw that in the bin too. Obviously something was going on with the machine. Finally they gave me the 4th one to be made but it was disgusting not mixed properly kind of chunky and way too strong. The customer service was horrible the girl was so rude and I could even see her shoving other employees around inside. I wanted to go back and ask for a refund but the girl was so rude and I was in a bad mood after this all so didn’t bother going back. I couldn’t drink the shake it made me feel so sick. Super upset with this hungry jacks don’t go there this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience with them.

Somehow this HJ’s location gets away with parking every single car that comes through so that their kitchen doesn’t have to rush to make their food. This would be good if it wasn’t for the fact that every single time we come through the drive thru we are made to park for 30+ minutes. You can’t even consider it “fast food”, it would be nice to know that we don’t have to dedicate an hour block of our day when we’re chasing a BBQ cheeseburger. Considering it takes this long you’d also expect the food to be made fresh and hot but it never is so I’m a bit confused as to what part of their job takes sometimes 40 minutes to make a cheeseburger and an iced chai(which wasn’t even stirred in). I’d suggest going to an actual restaurant and wait the same amount of time for good and hot food, hopefully management picks up their game.

Consistently average – I’d prefer Hunger-Jungas to MickyDees but it’s a risk at this joint. For example: Asked to park in the waiting bay for drive through order – approximately 15 minutes later I get my order. Flat soft drink. Luke warm fries. No napkins. I mean come on you guys, surely you can do better than this. 6 other cars parked either side of me and having to wait the same amount of time. I don’t believe it’s too difficult to get this fast food hamster wheel right.

Hats off to Hungry Jacks Bussleton who make the best whopper i have had for many years. Freshest ingredients and bun was not flattened. Fresh chips and the friendliest staff. Store was very clean including tables and chairs.
