We weren’t heading there, but we had heard good reports,so we decided to give it a try for lunch.We both had the roast pork (8 slices and crackle),yummo.The beer was icy cold great for a hot day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean, but there was no disabled in the front bar area. There is one in the restaurant, though. There are different food specials every night and also theme nights( bingo, trivial, etc).The drive-through bottle shop has a sausage sizzle on Friday nights. There are plenty of fans in the outside area, but if too hot ,the front bar is air-conditioned .

Group of 4 had dinner tonight. We opted for 3 regular roast lamb & pork $17 and 1 deluxe lamb roast $21. Great value for money, heaps of meat & gravy on all 4 plates, all you can eat veggie bar, complete with bread roll, butter and sauces. No complaints with the food, service was quick and friendly, but it was packed (which is great for business), but so noisy and a screaming child. Would definitely recommend the food though.

Stayed at Big4 in Howard Springs, this is our third night visiting the Howdy (wish we had one of these pubs in Victoria) 1st night went to the bar to order asked what veggies they had and the lovely lady suggested if we like veggies to go to the restaurant as they have a smorgasbord of vegetables + salads. Omg they have delicious vegetables & salads where you can help yourself They offered us takeout containers for what we couldn’t eat and a courtesy bus as we had walked there. The staff are amazing especially Shelia who served us Sunday night, couldn’t ask for better customer service. Thank You Lyn

On the good side, the baked pumkin, bread rolls and mushrooms were nice. The dining area was clean. The rest was 3rd rate – the prawn ‘cutletts’ were like what you get in a bucket at a servo and the servo chip are better. Very disappointing.

This place was a real Aussie pub, ice cold beers and good old pub favourites. Kids enjoyed the outside playground. We had to sit outside as we had kids and the dining room was closed (bar is only 18+). It was hot, the fans took the edge off the heat a bit, cold drinks did the rest. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Meals were nice and reasonably priced, missus had chicken schnitty and I had the buffalo burger. The kids had chicken nuggets and chips, no complaints from them at all. Recommended if in the area

We went today and I wanted a pint of Hahn 3.5, It’s what I drink, maybe first out of the tap for the day so sent it back, when ordering a second 1 the barman started with putting brookvale into the pint then Hahn 3.5? I asked him why he done it and he denied it, I said I watched him do it so he poured another, denying the Brookavale in the first place I wasn’t interested by then but stayed, ended up being served it any way. Look at the camera around 1320 4/7/23, never be back again.
